Illustrating the inner girl

My name is Lola Pelayo and I am happy to share with you a fragment of my artistic passion:

I desire to ignite the spark of education in our children and teenagers, so my creative work is primarily for them, without closing the doors to those who wish to participate.

In my paintings, two essential and recurring themes emerge spontaneously: children and women, almost always surrounded by the generous nature that surrounds them.

In addition, I include in my work the development of emotional healing, in dialogue with a society that I feel is in constant transformation.

During the creative process, my inner child rejoices in the exploration of various pictorial techniques, giving me an infinite range of resources for the creation of plastic art. 

Thus, my illustrations are filled with fantasy and a vibrant palette that reveals my Mexican essence and joy of life through these sometimes real and sometimes imaginary characters.
